Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of GalleonQL ("the app"), a desktop application provided by trimix ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

  • Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app.
  • You may not redistribute, resell or lend the app. Obtain it from the official download page.

2. Plans and payment

  • The app offers a Free plan and a subscription-based Pro plan (monthly or yearly, in US dollars). Neither plan limits how many projects you can create. The features of each plan and current prices are shown on the official website and on the in-app purchase screen.
  • Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (terms). The checkout page opens in your default browser.
  • Prices and plan structure may change in the future. Changes never apply retroactively to periods you have already paid for.

3. License keys and devices

  • A purchase issues a license key. Keeping the key safe is your responsibility. It may not be shared, transferred or resold.
  • On a device where a key is registered, the app verifies the key online on each launch. While offline, Pro features remain available for up to 24 hours after the last successful check.
  • To move to a new device, deactivate the license on the old device first, then register it on the new one. "Deactivate license on this device" does not stop billing — to stop billing, use "Cancel subscription".

4. Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel any time from the plan screen in the app. After cancelling, Pro features remain available until the end of the period you have paid for. There is no pro-rated refund.
  • When the period ends you return to the Free plan. Your saved data is never deleted or altered — anything created with Pro-only features remains viewable and stored.
  • Refunds are handled in line with Lemon Squeezy's policies and applicable law. To request one, write to with your order number.

5. Complimentary licenses

Licenses we grant free of charge (gift keys and the like) provide Pro features until their stated expiry date, are non-transferable, and are not subject to cancellation or refunds.

6. Your data and backups

  • Data you create in the app (projects, queries, environments and so on) is stored only on your own machine (see the Privacy Policy). Backups are your responsibility.
  • We cannot promise recovery if data is lost.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Circumventing or tampering with license checks or feature gates; sharing or reselling license keys
  • Modifying or reverse engineering the app (except to the extent expressly permitted by law)
  • Flooding or abusing our servers, including the crash-report endpoint, or otherwise interfering with the service
  • Using the app for anything unlawful or contrary to public order

8. The endpoints you connect to

The app is a tool that sends requests to GraphQL endpoints you configure. Complying with those services' terms, rate limits and access rules is your responsibility. We are not liable for issues arising between you and those services.

9. System requirements

  • Supported operating systems are macOS, Windows and Linux. Formats and requirements (e.g. Linux builds are x86_64 only and require webkit2gtk-4.1) follow what is stated on the official website and the download page.
  • License checks, purchases and crash reporting require an internet connection.

10. Disclaimer

  • The app is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is free of defects.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the app.
  • Outages of external services (payment, server hosting) may temporarily prevent purchases or license checks.

11. Changes to and discontinuation of the service

Content and specifications may change without notice. If we discontinue the service we will aim to announce it on the official website in advance. Because your data is stored locally, it is not lost when the service ends, apart from features that need our servers (such as license checks).

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance over any dispute relating to the app.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page and its date. We will announce significant changes on the official website.
