LockKM

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-09-25

These terms set out the conditions for using LockKM ("the app"), a macOS utility provided by trimix ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.

1. Scope

These terms apply to your use of the app as we provide it. The app is paid software we provide on the Mac App Store.

2. Conditions of use

  • The app is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store. There are no in-app purchases, no subscription and no accounts
  • It requires macOS 14 or later
  • Obtain the app from the Mac App Store, where it will be available soon. Purchases and refunds are governed by Apple's terms. We cannot vouch for copies distributed anywhere else

3. Accessibility permission

The app requires macOS's Accessibility permission to work. Granting and revoking it is under your control (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Using the app to inconvenience or harm others — such as locking a device without its administrator's consent
  • Using the app for purposes that violate the law or public order
  • Interfering with the distribution or provision of the app

5. Disclaimer

  • The app is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is free of defects
  • To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for damage arising from use of the app, including damage caused by being unable to operate the device while it is locked

6. Changes to or termination of the app

The app's features and specifications may change without notice. Should we stop providing it, copies you have already installed will keep working — the app runs entirely on your Mac.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.

8. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update this page and revise the "last updated" date.
